At the Center for Molecular Innovation and Drug Discovery (CMIDD) our mission is to drive small-molecule discovery to advance both therapeutic treatment and exciting experimental research. We have two research arms: one as a University Center and the other through ChemCore, the medicinal and synthetic chemistry core facility. In the Center, we come to the table as collaborators, offering exceptional field expertise and creative problem-solving to our research partners. The Core operates on a fee-for-service model, which offers access to our unique expertise and high-end instrumentation for a defined project task.
ChemCore: Fee-for-Service Model
This model was created for researchers who need access to our specific skill-set to complete a project task. Services include medicinal and synthetic chemistry, molecular modeling, and experimental design and results consultation.
We can work with you to accommodate your budget and maximize results. Fee-for-service billing is submitted through NUCore, the Northwestern University ordering system for shared resource facilities.
CMIDD: Collaborative Partnership
Researchers who are seeking a collaborative research partnership should work with our Center researchers to coordinate a comprehensive project plan and execution. In this model, our research team completes full research grant aims, giving your project dedicated research time. Our team has extensive grant writing and project design experience and would be happy to work with you to obtain funding.
