Join Northwestern University’s Center for Molecular Innovation and Drug Discovery (CMIDD) for the inaugural Aldrich Lecture and Drug Discovery Poster Session on April 4, 2017 featuring keynote presenter Dr. Dirk Trauner, Professor of Chemistry from New York University. This lecture is a key component of the education and outreach activities of CMIDD. In partnership with MilliporeSigma, we are bringing together faculty, graduate, and post-doc students to exchange their scientific knowledge and discuss their latest ground-breaking research in chemistry, chemical biology, bio-engineering, and other like-minded disciplines.
The lecture will feature a keynote address by Dr. Trauner, entitled “Controlling and Mimicking Biological Functions With Synthetic Photoswitches.” The address will be followed by a scientific poster session and networking reception, with posters presented by the Drug Discovery Scholars, an elite group of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows selected based on their innovation and merit within the realm of drug discovery.
